The presence of God is the life line we absolutely need. His presence is the only thing that makes you feel safe, makes the hard times feel easier, and it is the only thing that can bring joy to your heart when the world says that there shouldn’t be any.

I love imagining the halls of heaven and how beautiful they must be. The overwhelming comfort and warmth from the light that shimmers taking up every space around you and the ability to freely and weightlessly run in the glory of God. We can’t even fathom how good it will be to walk with God and constantly experience Him.
Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary. 1 Chronicles 16: 27
Luckily for us, He allows us to catch a glimpse of that heavenly place whenever we enter into the presence of the Lord. When we step inside the throne room of God, there is a love that we cannot find anywhere else. It’s a pure and matchless love that feeds directly into the depths of who we are. It’s a place where you are allowed to be broken and God surrounds you in healing, a place where you can bring all of your fears and God will calmly silence them, a place where you can bring a confused heart and God will gently remind you that He is good and He is still in control.
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16: 11
Being heart to heart with Jesus is something we should make time for every single day. Yes, we pray, we worship on our way to work or at church, but we need to make a space to be quiet with Him, to listen to Him, to just feel Him with no time limit or structure. Captivating and personal moments with Him are what we need in order to get through the everyday challenges of life.
